Most Human Design charts are based on the Tropical zodiac - a system that has supported millions of people and offers a powerful foundation.
True Sidereal Human Design takes a different approach.
It reflects the actual astronomical positions of the stars and planets at the moment of your birth, offering a perspective that many experience as more grounded, present, and deeply aligned.

Your chart is more than just your Type or Profile.
The real depth lies in the Centers, Channels, and Gates - and how they come together to form your unique energetic blueprint.
That’s why I created the Foundational True Sidereal Human Design Report:
A practical, ~50+ page in-depth guide to help you understand your chart and apply it in your life and business.
Once you run your chart with the calculator above you will see the option to directly purchase the report.
When I first discovered Human Design in 2020, I started with the Tropical system - like most people do.
I wasn’t questioning the astrology behind it. I was fascinated by the wisdom of the BodyGraph itself.
Over time, as I followed my own inner guidance, I was introduced to Sidereal astrology - and eventually to True Sidereal.
And something shifted.
It wasn’t about one system being “right” or “wrong.”
It was about resonance.
My True Sidereal chart felt like coming home in a different way.
It revealed aspects of myself that felt more grounded, more present, and more aligned with my lived experience.
And at the same time, I remain deeply grateful for Tropical as it was my foundation that got me there.
For years, the question has been:
“Which one is correct?”
But what I’ve seen through my own journey and my work with clients is this:
You don’t have to choose.
Both charts can offer meaningful insight - just in different ways.
One way I like to see it:
Tropical Human Design often feels familiar - like South Node energy.
It reflects patterns, tendencies, and ways of being that are quite familiar to you.
True Sidereal Human Design can feel more expansive - like North Node energy that also gets you more out of your comfort zone.
It invites you into new levels of alignment, growth, and truth.
One isn’t better than the other.
Just like we see it in Astrology, they simply offer different perspectives of your design. And you get to choose.
For many people, this perspective:
Brings a sense of grounding and present-moment awareness
Deepens their connection to themselves and their intuition
Reveals aspects of their design that feel more aligned
Sometimes it resonates immediately.
Sometimes it takes time.
Both are valid.
This is not about fitting into a box
Human Design is not here to define you.
It’s here to support you in trusting yourself.
Whether you resonate with Tropical, True Sidereal, or both -
what matters most is what feels true for you.
This was never about
getting it right.
Not the chart.
Not the system.
Not the path.
It was always about
coming back home
to yourself.
If you've ever looked at your birth chart and thought, "This doesn't quite feel like me," you're not alone.
Tropical Astrology (the most common system in the West) is based on the seasons and the relationship between the Earth and the Sun. It uses a fixed zodiac that was aligned with the constellations about 2,000 years ago—but due to the Earth's wobble (called precession), the tropical zodiac is about 30 degrees off from where the constellations actually are in the sky today.
True Sidereal Astrology, on the other hand, is based on the actual positions of the constellations in the sky right now. It accounts for precession and reflects what's astronomically accurate—where the planets and stars truly were when you were born.
I'm deeply grateful for Tropical Astrology—it was an important foundation for me and eventually led me to discover True Sidereal. What Tropical gets right is the aspects of the planets—how they relate to each other. To me these relationships remain accurate and powerful.
However, what's off is the actual position in the sky. It's like the zodiac is twisted forward in time by about one full constellation. And here's what fascinates me: I have a theory that this is why our society feels so rushed, always chasing what's next. We're collectively orienting to something that isn't actually up in the sky yet.
When we align with the actual placements—what IS in the sky right now—it brings us back to present moment awareness. It allows us to slow down. To ground into what's real. To trust what's here now rather than always reaching ahead.
Why does this matter for you?
For many people (myself included), the True Sidereal chart feels like coming home.
For example, in my tropical chart, I had an overabundance of air planets. But my True Sidereal chart revealed I'm actually earth-dominant—which completely matches my actual experience of myself.
This is something I hear often from my clients as well. Placements that never quite fit in the tropical chart suddenly fall into place in the True Sidereal version. Things that felt "off" finally make sense. It's like finally seeing an accurate map of who you truly are.
For myself and a growing number of clients, the True Sidereal version simply resonates more deeply. While it can first lead to a sort of "Ego Death" (as many have gotten quite attached to their tropical charts), it eventually validates what we already know about ourselves rather than trying to make us fit into descriptions that don't land.
This is why I use True Sidereal Astrology in my Human Design & Gene Keys sessions and throughout my work. Because when you see yourself reflected accurately in your chart—grounded in what's real and present—that's when the real transformation begins, and there is really no going back.
