One Message, Many Doorways - God, Jesus, Human Design, Gene Keys & Astrology

As I'm writing this, I just got back from a walk watching the sun set over the South Florida sky. The colors were unreal. And I'm reminded, once again, how vast and beautiful this creation is, and how lucky we are to be part of it.

I want to talk about something that has been on my heart for a long time. In my private coaching spaces I dr brin it up frequently but publicly I have held back.

We talk a lot about oneness in spiritual spaces. That we're all connected. That it all comes from the same Source. And yet, the moment we get specific, the walls go up. Only Jesus is the way. Only this religion is right. Astrology is bad. Human Design is a cult.

So which is it?

What if the question isn't which tool is right, but how are we using it?

I mean what if they can actually complement each other?

Why I was afraid of God

Growing up, the concept of God felt scary to me. I believed I was being watched, judged, and would be punished if I got it wrong. And I was sure I was getting it wrong. Constantly. I was afraid I believed in the wrong thing.

For years, the whole topic was a trigger. And when I heard "you can only come to God through Jesus," I had no idea what that meant. It just felt like one more rule I was probably failing. I was raised without being baptized, not going to church and just picked up some confusing teachings along the way.

How Human Design opened the door

Then Human Design came into my life in my late 30s. Then the Gene Keys. And eventually, True Sidereal Astrology.

Instead of more rules, I found frequencies. In the Gene Keys, Richard Rudd describes a path from Shadow to Gift to Siddhi, the highest frequency we're capable of embodying. When I read the Siddhis (e.g. Unity, Empathy, Forgiveness, Divine Will, Compassion), I realized: this is what Jesus lived. That's Christ Consciousness to me.

And suddenly "coming to God through Jesus" made sense to me. It means living the way he lived. Embodying those qualities as best we can. Not as a performance, but as a way of being.

Human Design taught me something else, too: the mind isn't here to figure everything out. It's here to ask questions. And my favorite questions now are the ones I ask God. I don't have to know it all. I can be in conversation. I can be okay with not knowing.

It was also through this work that one teaching finally clicked for me: the kingdom of God is within you. Not separate from us. Not something far away that we have to earn.

Of course, Human Design didn't exist when Jesus walked the earth. But I believe it came later so that people like me could find a way back to his teachings, without the fear.

Why the real sky matters to me

Astrology only started to feel true to me when I met it in its purest form I know of: True Sidereal, the sky as it actually looks like. The constellations as they were created, including Ophiuchus. What strikes me is that Ophiuchus IS the energy of healing, transmutation and redemption. It reminds us that we are not meant to bypass pain or deny trauma, rather it invites us to confront uncomfortable truths and taboos with absolute consciousness. Over time our psychological shadows and wounds shift into profound healing and spiritual transmutation.

Tropical astrology helped me for years in the context of Human Design, and I'm not judging anyone who uses it. I did too. But where I am on my journey now, it feels artificial to me. And leaving out Ophiuchus is leaving out a very important part. When I look up at the sky, I want to read what's actually there and see the full picture. I also have Ophiuchus in my 1st House, along with Neptune conjunct the Galactic Center, probably why I love talking about these things so much.

And I've come to believe that God has utilized his creation = people (astrologers, Ra Uru Hu, Richard Rudd, and countless others, you and me included) as channels to bring this wisdom to us. Not to replace a relationship with Him, but to lead us back to Him.

It's not about the name

Here's what I really want to say: there is no one right way.

I believe that someone who lives the way Jesus lived, with love, compassion, and forgiveness, is living those teachings, even if they never speak his name. They are not less than anyone else.

For some people, connecting with God happens in church. For others, it's in nature. In being fully present with another human being, because every person is an expression of the One who created them. In slowing down and sitting in silence long enough to hear the quiet nudges within.

That's where co-creation begins. When you listen, and trust what comes through, you start living the life you were always meant for.

Why we're all so different

I believe God has a unique plan for each of us. That's why we have different stories, upbringings, desires, tastes, and gifts. Not because one is better than another, but because the whole needs all of it.

Just like the sky. The constellations aren't all the same size or shape. And together, they make up something breathtaking.

You are never alone

Tools like Human Design and astrology can become dogma. Religion can become dogma too. They can become boxes, predictions, or just another way to feel like you're doing it wrong.

Or they can become mirrors. Doorways. Reminders of how uniquely you were made, and invitations into a deeper conversation with the One who made you.

For me, that's what they've been. And every time I contemplate the vastness of the universe and how it was all created, it blows my mind. We get to be part of this. We are never alone.
